  6. KNB Paper Shred Event

    April 19, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Newton County Library

    Limit of five standard-sized moving boxes per person. This event will be contactless. All participants are asked to remain inside their vehicles. Participants should place paper in cardboard boxes in the trunks of their cars or in the beds of their trucks and allow volunteers to remove the boxes.

  10. District 1 Service Day - Community Cleanup

    Newton County's District Commissioners, in conjunction with the Newton County Bicentennial Committee, are hosting a series of Service Days in their communities. The service days will consists of cleanups in each Commissioner districts. The cleanup for District 1 will begin at Alcovy High School. Participants will receive a free T Shirt. All participants will need to fill out a COVID-19 pre-screening release form.
