The Newton County Solid Waste Authority will meet Thursday, Oct. 19 at 5:30 p.m., in the Newton County Historic Courthouse.

Among the items on the meeting agenda are approval for Lease Purchase of a new landfill compactor, Caterpillar Trackhoe, D6K Bulldozer and 725C Articulated 40 C.Y. Dump Truck. The authority will also hear a financial update from Newton County Finance Director Nicole Cross.
